What does dreaming of a snake or wolf, mean? You may find that these dreams are easier to interpret than you thought.
To dream of a snake represents healing, transformation, knowledge and wisdom. It is indicative of self-renewal and positive change. To dream of being bitten by one signifies hidden fears and worries that are threatening you. Your dream may be alerting you to something in your waking life that you are not aware of.
Alternatively, the snake may be seen as phallic and thus symbolize temptation, dangerous and forbidden sexuality. If you are afraid of the snake, it signifies your fears of sex, intimacy or commitment. The snake may also refer to a person around you who is callous, ruthless, and can't be trusted.
To see a wolf in your dream, symbolizes survival, solitude, mystery, self-confidence and pride. You are able to keep your composure in a variety of social circumstances and blend into any situation with ease and grace. You are also a loner by choice.
Negatively, the wolf represents hostility, aggression, or sneakiness. It may reflect an uncontrollable situation or an all-consuming force in your life. It could point to an obsession, an addiction or something that is beyond your control. To hear a wolf howling in a dream represents a cry for help from somebody in real life.
